Last updated Dec 18, 2024The new Land Rover Defender is a small SUV offered in both 5D SUV and 3D SUV body styles. Available in Australia from $88,870 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the S variant and topping out at $317,592 for the Octa Edition One.
There are 10 variants of the Defender available in Australia and this generation went on sale in May of 2024.
Engine options include 3.0L electric compressor & supercharger petrol direct injection (294kW/550Nm), electric motor (297kW/640Nm), 5.0L supercharger petrol direct injection (386kW/625Nm), 2.0L turbo petrol direct injection (221kW/400Nm), 3.0L turbo diesel common rail (257kW/700Nm) and 4.4L turbo petrol direct injection (467kW/750Nm). All variants feature 8-speed automatic transmission. All variants feature four-wheel drive.
The new 2025 Defender is offered with a 5 year, unlimited km warranty.
