Jaguar Land Rover Australia is recalling nine vehicles across three model lines due to an issue that could result in a fire.
The recall affects Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Land Rover Defender models from 2023.
“The clamps retaining the engine’s fuel injectors may not meet manufacturing specifications and could crack,” the company says in its recall notice.
“If this occurs, fuel may leak in the presence of an external ignition source resulting in a vehicle fire.
“A vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and/or damage to property.”
If you own an affected vehicle, you’ll need to contact an authorised Jaguar Land Rover dealership to have the fuel injectors inspected and replaced, free of charge.
If you have any further questions, you can contact the JLRA Customer Relationship Centre on 1800 625 642.
