About William
William Stopford has been obsessed with cars since picking up his first magazine at the age of four. He later developed a passion for international markets and mainstream models, which shaped his path into automotive media.
After graduating from QUT in 2012 with a degree in Business and Journalism, William spent time in the US before working in health insurance. On the side, he wrote historical automotive pieces for Curbside Classic and contributed to CarAdvice before joining CarExpert at launch.
William has owned four rear-wheel drive sedans, most recently a Hyundai Genesis Ultimate. He enjoys travel, time with family and friends, and is always considering what classic car to add to his garage next.
He loves to travel and spend time with family and friends and has long contemplated adding something older to his garage.
