Isuzu UTE Australia was established in 2008, when the Isuzu D-MAX ute was introduced, followed by the closely related MU-X seven-seat off-road SUV in 2013. Both ladder-frame models have since been renewed, in 2020 and 2021 respectively. The current line-up consists of the facelifted MY24 D-MAX and MY25 MU-X.

In 2024, IUA was Australia's 8th most popular vehicle brand and the D-MAX was the nation's fourth best selling new vehicle, thanks its competitive pricing and performance, six-year warranty and IUA's network of 160-plus dealers nationwide.
