Supply is tight, but the Toyota HiLux maintained its spot atop the Australian sales charts in the first month of 2022.
It was narrowly trailed by the Ford Ranger, which finished second overall on the charts, and the Mitsubishi Triton in fourth overall.
The D-Max was next, followed by the Mazda BT-50 and Nissan Navara. The GWM Cannon was the strongest-selling ute from a challenger brand, trailed by the LDV T60.
Both the T60 and Cannon outsold the Volkswagen Amarok, as VW Australia grapples with tight supply.
One month of sales does not make for a trend, but nevertheless here’s the state of play as we commence another year.
