    About the Nissan Navara

    Last updated Dec 18, 2024

The Nissan Navara ute range remains unchanged in terms of standard specification for the 2025 model year, ahead of an anticipated all-new generation.

Nissan Australia implemented a price increase of $500 across the Navara lineup as part of a broader price adjustment in 2024.

As of July 2024, the Navara range starts at $33,550 before on-road costs for the SL 4×2 manual single-cab chassis, and goes up to $71,265 before on-roads for the Pro-4X Warrior 4×4 automatic dual-cab pickup.

Both Navara Warrior variants, which are modified in Melbourne by Nissan’s engineering partner Premcar, continue to be available for the 2024 model year.

The Navara SL Warrior is priced from $59,250 before on-roads with a six-speed manual transmission, or $61,750 before on-roads with a seven-speed automatic.

    The Navara Pro-4X Warrior starts at $68,765 before on-roads with a six-speed manual transmission, or $71,265 before on-roads with a seven-speed automatic.

The Navara is nearing the end of its lifecycle, with a new generation expected in 2025.

    Cost of ownership

What are the running and servicing costs of a Nissan Navara?

The Nissan Navara has a recommended service interval of 12 months or 20,000 km, whichever comes first.

    2025 Nissan Navara Warranty

What is the warranty on a Nissan Navara?

The Nissan Navara offers a 5 year unlimited kilometre warranty. This is separate to the warranty on offer under Australian Consumer Law which can be greater for certain parts based on what is deemed as a reasonable period of time.

2025 Nissan Navara vs other Utes to consider

Though Nissan has kept it fresh, the Navara can't help but be a little squeezed by the likes of the more value-priced Mitsubishi Triton (not to mention the GWM Ute and LDV T60) on one side and the recently redesigned Isuzu D-Max and Mazda BT-50 on the other.

Then there are the segment's best sellers, the Ford Ranger and Toyota HiLux.

The Triton can't tow as much and the list of safety equipment is shorter in most of its variants, but it counters with lower prices. The D-Max and BT-50 twins offer an interior that feels newer, though their 3.0-litre turbo-diesel doesn't offer any more power or torque than the Navara's twin-turbo 2.3-litre diesel.

The Ranger is on the cusp of a slick, more tech-focused redesign and the Toyota HiLux's top engine packs more torque, plus that Toyota badge seems to carry more weight with buyers.
