    Suzuki Vitara recalled

Incorrect owner's manual information on child seat installation has led Suzuki to recall over 30,000 Vitara models.

Suzuki has issued a recall for its Vitara to prevent the incorrect installation of child seats, but owners won’t need to take their cars back to a dealer.

“Vehicles have been supplied with incorrect information in the owner’s manual in regards to the installation of ISOFIX child restraint system,” the company says in its recall notice.

“Consumers may incorrectly install the ISOFIX child restraint system, posing a risk of injury or death to the child in the event of an accident.”
