All the electric cars coming to Australia

There are plenty of new EVs confirmed for Australia, many of which are on track to be here in the next year or so. Here's what we know.

Electric vehicle (EV) sales are spiking in Australia, albeit from a low base, and there’s some real momentum building.

June 2023 saw EVs hit 8.8 per cent market share, while the Australian Government has now pledged to create a new National EV Strategy paper.

Additionally, all states and territories now offering purchase incentives in various shapes and sizes – for examples, NSW residents can get a $3000 rebate and QLD residents can get up to a $6000 rebate.

While Tesla is far and away the dominant force, a number of Chinese brands are hot on its tail.
