Lexus
Toyota’s luxury brand, Lexus, is Japan’s leading premium vehicle manufacturer.
Founded in 1989, the marque is headquartered in Nagoya, Japan and produces a range of premium passenger cars and SUVs – almost all of which are based on models offered by its Toyota parent.
Popular SUV nameplates in the current line-up include the top-selling NX mid-sizer and the large RX crossovers, as well as the LBX light SUV and UX small SUV, plus the new Toyota Prado-based GX and LandCruiser-based LX large SUVs.
With the Toyota Prius-based CT hybrid hatchback, the bespoke IS mid-size sedan, RC mid-size coupe and GS large sedan all now discontinued, the Lexus passenger car lineup currently includes the ES and LS sedans, plus the LC sports cars, the LM people-mover and the RZ mid-size electric SUV based on the Toyota bZ4X.
