The popular Kia Sorento will offer more hybrid and PHEV variants later this year, as the brand prepares for incoming emissions regulations.

Last updated Dec 18, 2024The new Kia Sorento is a large SUV offered in a 5D SUV body style. Available in Australia from $50,680 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the S variant and topping out at $84,660 for the Gt-line.
There are 4 variants of the Sorento available in Australia and this generation went on sale in September of 2024.
Engine options include 3.5L multi-point injection (200kW/332Nm), 2.2L turbo diesel common rail (148kW/440Nm), 1.6L turbo petrol direct injection (169kW/350Nm) and electric motor (195kW/350Nm). Non-electric variants are available with 8-speed automatic or 6-speed automatic transmissions. Both front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations are available.
The new 2025 Sorento is offered with a 7 year, unlimited km warranty.
