The Skoda Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe will be refreshed and joined by a range of new electric vehicles (EVs), including a wagon and a replacement for the current Karoq.
The Czech brand has released a roadmap for the expansion of its EVs. It aims to have six EVs by 2026 that “will cover all vehicle segments that are relevant to our customers”.
It also says it will have invested a total of 5.6 billion euros (A$9.26bn) in EVs by 2027.
It’s also phasing out its logo in most places. All new model launches from 2024 onwards will see a simple wordmark used on the front of the car and steering wheel, with the old winged logo only appearing on the wheels.
Vision 7S concept
Last year’s Vision 7S concept gives us an idea of what to expect visually from upcoming Skodas.
This concept also featured a new layout for the cabin, with a free-standing touchscreen, plus six shortcut buttons and three large rotary controls on the centre console.
Before the first of its next-gen EVs arrives, Skoda will also debut new generations of the Kodiaq and Superb this year along with a refreshed Scala and Kamiq.
A refreshed Octavia is due next year. All three facelifted models have been confirmed for a local launch in 2024.
Skoda is taking over responsibility of the development of the EA211 petrol engine range, and will continue to offer petrol and plug-in hybrid powertrains.
Elroq
First cab off the rank is a compact SUV called the Elroq, due in 2024.
It’ll replace the current Karoq and measure around 4.5m long. That will make it slightly longer than the 4382mm Karoq, and roughly the same length as the current Volkswagen Tiguan.

The current Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe will be “significantly updated” in 2025, gaining the brand’s new Modern Solid design language.

Teaser graphics don’t appear to indicate any significant sheetmetal changes for the electric SUVs, which launched in 2020 and 2022, respectively. However, we can expect new front- and rear-end styling.
They’ll continue to be built in Skoda’s hometown of Mladá Boleslav in Czechia.
Unnamed small car
Also due in 2025 is a new EV that will become Skoda’s smallest and most affordable.
Skoda says it will have a price around 25,000 euros (A$41,361).
The brand says it will have an “SUV style” and measure around 4.1m long, while boasting luggage capacity similar to that of the larger Scala.
That means boot capacity of around 467L, expanding to around 1410L with the rear seats folded.
“Combi”
An electric station wagon will join the line-up in 2026, and is currently being referred to simply as Combi though we expect it to receive a new name.
It’ll measure around 4.7m long. That puts it between the current Octavia (4689mm) and Superb (4856mm) wagons.
The Combi will be the brand’s first electric wagon, and Skoda says “it embodies the brand’s core values and transports the strengths of this popular body style into the era of electric mobility”.
“Space”
First teased with last year’s Concept 7S, a new three-row SUV will join the line-up in 2026. It’s currently being referred to simply as Space.
It’ll measure around 4.9m long – around 200mm longer than the Kodiaq – and offer seven seats.
Skoda says it will be the “pinnacle of the new Modern Solid design language”.
