Facelifted versions of the Cupra Leon, Born and Formentor are all earmarked for a late 2024 launch in Australia.
Cupra Australia has warned, however, those dates could change and the Born in particular could fall into 2025 – the same year the new Tavascan electric SUV is due here.
The Terramar petrol/plug-in hybrid SUV could also arrive in 2025, though it has yet to be revealed in production guise and its local launch could fall into 2026.

The facelifts of the Leon, Born and Formentor were teased all the way back in June 2022, and all wear distinctive three-triangle LED daytime running light signatures as seen on the Tavascan.
A recently spied prototype shows the Leon’s Tavascan-inspired facelift, which features not only the distinctive lighting elements but also a new grille and a new bumper.
Down back, we can also see tweaks to the rear light graphics and bumper.
While the company displayed the front-end styling of the Leon, Born and Formentor facelifts last year, it didn’t show off their rears.
It’s unclear what other changes we can expect from these models, though updated infotainment systems appear likely given the Volkswagen and Skoda brands are rolling out larger touchscreens.
Cupra currently offers only these three model lines, plus the older Ateca which is unlikely to see a second generation.
With the Tavascan, Terramar, and upcoming Raval electric hatch, however, the global Cupra lineup will double in size by 2025.
