The all-new BMW 7 Series has landed in Australia and TikTok car expert Paul Maric had the chance to get up close with the German brand’s latest creation and we reckon this might just be the most luxurious car in the world. Let us explain why.
TikTok influencer Paul Maric, who uses handle @paulmaric, shared a video on TikTok showing some of the incredible features you’ll find on this $300,000 luxury car – the video has been viewed over 6 million times!

Paul Maric explains in the TikTok video, “BMW now uses Swarovski crystals in the headlights so they shimmer in the daylight, even if they’re not on,” he said.
It gets even better with the doors, Maric demonstrates how the doors open using just the key fob alone.
“Using the key fob, buttons on the doors or by putting your foot on the brake, the car is able to automatically open and close its doors on demand,” said Maric in his TikTok video.
You may be wondering – what happens if there is a car or person next to you? Sensors located on the front and rear side panels measure the distance between the 7 Series and the vehicle or person next to it and stop the door short of impact.
But, the best is definitely kept until last.
Maric demonstrates the HUGE television in the second row, explaining “the second row comes with screens built into the rear door handles, along with an enormous 31.3-inch 8K display that folds down from the roof.”
TikTok users who viewed the video were blown away by the level of luxury, with many sharing their disbelief.
“Yeah I can smell the money,” said one user.
While another commented on the likely depreciation, saying “I’ll buy it for 12 grand in about 4 years.”

“You need a chauffeur for that, otherwise it’s such a waste to have an 8k screen that you’ll never enjoy,” commented one user.
But, not everybody was complementary, with a couple of TikTok users wondering what the point of the excess was.
“A car out of touch with reality for people out of touch with life,” said one user.
“Those lights are going to cost mega money to replace,” another said.
The all-electric flagship i7 xDrive60 uses a dual-motor all-wheel drive electric powertrain with total system outputs of 400kW and 745Nm. It’s mated to a 106kWh battery pack.
BMW claims it can do the 0-100km/h sprint in 4.7 seconds.
The petrol version is powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline-six-cylinder petrol engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system, with total system outputs of 280kW of power and 540Nm of torque. This is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, with drive sent to the rear wheels only.
