Australian pricing for the rugged Ineos Grenadier off-roader have risen by up to $14,600, depending on the variant, according to the company’s local website.

The two-seat Grenadier Utility Wagon and five-seat Grenadier Station Wagon have their asking prices brought in line with the Grenadier Quartermaster dual-cab ute.

The Ineos Grenadier Utility Wagon now starts from $109,000 before on-roads, and extends to $122,000 before on-roads for the Trialmaster Edition and Fieldmaster Edition.

The Grenadier Station Wagon on the other hand now starts from $110,000 before on-roads, and extends to $123,000 before on-roads for the Trialmaster Edition and Fieldmaster Edition.

An Ineos Automotive spokesperson confirmed this price rise went into effect in July, in line with the unveiling of the Quartermaster dual-cab ute.

“Reaction to the vehicle has been excellent, and orders have remained strong since the price increase earlier this year,” added the Ineos Automotive spokesperson.

They also confirmed the entire Grenadier range, including the forthcoming Quartermaster dual-cab ute, is still exempt from Luxury Car Tax (LCT) and there haven’t been any specification changes as a result of the price rise.

Australian customer deliveries of the Grenadier wagon variants commenced in Australia in June this year.

The company recently produced the first example of the Grenadier Quartermaster dual-cab ute at its production facility in Hambach, France.

The first customer deliveries of this dual-cab ute variant are set to begin in Europe in December. Shipments to the Asia Pacific region – which includes Australia – as well as to the Sub-Saharan Africa, and the Middle East will be “following soon after”. North American sales on the other hand are set to begin in early 2024.

The fledging carmaker has also announced a cab-chassis version of the Grenadier Quartermaster will enter production in 2024, and will be aimed at “conversion specialists and commercial body builders”.
