The 2020 Toyota LandCruiser Prado is available in six variants with pricing ranging from $54,090 before on-road costs for the GX manual to $84,590beforeon-roads for the Kakadu.
The current LandCruiser Prado is the third generation of the nameplate to be sold in Australia.
It accounts for just over 17 per cent of the large SUV segment, putting it well ahead of the Toyota Kluger (12.7 per cent), and off-road competitors such as the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport (6.9 per cent).

The Toyota LandCruiser Prado is only available with a 2.8-litre common-rail turbo-diesel four-cylinder with 130kW.
With a six-speed manual the engine makes 420Nm, while the six-speed automatic version has 450Nm.
Four-wheel drive is standard across the entire Prado range.
The 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado manual uses 7.9L/100km on the ADR combined cycle, while the automatic is rated at 8.0L/100km.
The Prado comes with an 87L main tank and a 63L sub tank for a total of 150L of fuel, and the sort of long-haul cruising range usually reserved for light aircraft.
A flat tailgate version (without the boot-mounted spare tyre) only has the 87L maintank.
The 2020 Toyota LandCruiser Prado measures 1995mm long, 1890mm tall and 1885mm wide, with a 2790mm wheelbase.
The optional flat tailgate without the rear-mounted spare is shorter at 4825mm.
The kerb weight Prado starts at 2230kg for the base manual five-seater and jumps to 2455kg for range-topping seven-seat versions.
The LandCruiser Prado has an ANCAP rating of five stars.
Automatic versions of the Prado feature autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beam, hill-descent control, and hill start assist.
High-end variants also come with parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
