Introduced in 2017, the Ioniq Hybrid is Hyundai’s answer to the Toyota Prius while the Ioniq Electric is a direct rival for the Nissan Leaf. The Ioniq Plug-In Hybrid has no direct rival.

The 2020 Hyundai Ioniq Electric has no internal combustion engine and features a larger 38.3kWh lithium-ion battery. Total system output is 100kW and 295Nm.
