Mercedes-Benz is recalling 2019 GLE300d SUVs for an issue with their side airbags, but it affects just three examples.

The affected vehicles are equipped with four- or five-zone climate control.

“The side airbags on this vehicle may deploy with excessive force and might not meet the requirements of UN-R135,” the company says in its recall notice.

“If the side airbags deploy with excessive force, there is an increased risk of injury to vehicle occupants.”

    • A total of three vehicles are affected from model year 2019.

If you’re the owner of an affected vehicle, you’ll need to take it to your local Mercedes-Benz dealer for a repair.
