Xpeng

XPeng was founded in 2014 in Guangzhou, China and started production of its first vehicle – the G3 SUV – in 2018.

Traded on the New York Stock Exchange and Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Xpeng exclusively offers electric vehicles (EVs). It started exporting vehicles from China in 2021 and has received an investment from the Volkswagen Group with which it is collaborating on EVs.

In early 2024 TrueEV was appointed as the brand’s sole Australian importer, distributor and retailer, with the Tesla Model Y-rivalling G6 mid-size electric SUV being the brand’s first product in Australia.
