Holden Special Vehicles (HSV) was an Australian car company that specialised in producing high-performance vehicles based on Holden cars, which were also Australian-made. HSV was established in 1987 as a joint-venture between Holden and British racer/businessman Tom Walkinshaw. The company's goal was to produce high-performance cars that could compete with the likes of BMW M, Mercedes-AMG, and Audi Sport.

HSV produced a range of models based on Holden vehicles, including the Commodore, Ute and Caprice. These models were modified with upgraded engines, suspension systems, brakes and other performance-enhancing components. HSV also offered a range of cosmetic upgrades such as body kits, wheels and interior trims.

HSV's most famous models were based on the Commodore family, including the ClubSport, GTS, Senator and Maloo. These models were equipped with high-performance V8s and featured reworked suspension, brakes and other performance-enhancing components.

In 2017, Holden announced it would cease production in Australia, which also led to the discontinuation of HSV models including the Colorado-based SportsCat. However, the Walkinshaw group continues to offer performance parts and conduct engineering and remanufacturing services for a range of other automakers including GM.
