The Lexus is still quite new so up to now, we have had no issues whatsoever.
What do you think of the ownership experience with your car?
Lexus is establishing itself as a premium product and is widening the gap away from being regarded as an up-market Toyota.
How has the purchase and aftercare experience been with your car?
Lexus supply great after-sales service with fixed-price servicing, free loan car, and membership to their Encore loyalty program.
Are you happy with the price and features of your car?
Price was competitive for the premium small SUV market and comes equipped with all the safety and comfort features we would ever need.
What do you think of the performance and economy of your car?
The economy is excellent around town, regularly achieving 5 litres of fuel per 100 km. Performance is adequate but would be a better package if it had another 20 to 30kW of power.
What do you think of the technology in your car?
Technology is well catered for with a 13-speaker sound system and heated and cooled seats. The usual safety features are all there which is what you would expect for a car in this class.
What do you think of the ride comfort and handling of your car?
The car rides exceptionally well considering it is equipped with run-flat tyres, it is very quiet and does not suffer from any apparent wind noise. The seats are very comfortable and adjustable even for my 190cm height.
Do you have any additional comments about your car?
The car is ideal for singles or older couples that don’t need excessive cargo space or rear seat accommodation. It is ideal for metro driving and will handle regional trips quite well if you need to get away for the weekend.
