The iconic Mini Cooper returns in both turbo petrol and all-electric flavours, but the two are very different underneath the skin this time.

The Mini Electric, or Cooper SE, is very expensive and very flawed. But, it has charm in spades and stays true to the brand's cute, funky vibe.

The Mini Cooper S is still adorable and fun to drive, but it's very expensive and lacks some modern features expected for the money.

Mini wasn't going to go fully electric until the next-generation model. But plans change, and here we are. If you want a super-cute, punchy and green urban runabout, it's the obvious choice. But there are caveats...
