The Mazda 2 and CX-3 will reportedly be axed in Japan later this year, but both small cars will stay on sale in Australia for the time being.

Last updated Jul 04, 2025The new Mazda CX-3 is a small SUV offered in a 5D SUV body style. Available in Australia from $26,950 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Sport variant and topping out at $39,485 for the Akari.
There are 6 variants of the CX-3 available in Australia and this generation went on sale in January of 2025.
Engine options include 2.0L petrol direct injection (110kW/195Nm) and 2.0L null (110kW/195Nm). All variants feature 6-speed automatic transmission. All variants feature front-wheel drive.
The new 2025 CX-3 is offered with a 5 year, unlimited km warranty.
