After 8 days of testing, we finally have a winner in our inaugural CarExpert Ute of the Year awards!
Ford is giving its gen-two Ranger and Ranger Raptor a handful of colours including some brilliant bright colours for the alter, including one exclusive to the flagship ute.
However, if you like 50 shades of grey – or, in this case, three – you’ll still have some options that’ll suit.
The colour palette comprises the following:
A new Sunshine Orange mica exterior paint colour is offered exclusively on the X-Terrain following the discontinuation of Volcanic Amber metallic.
The 2024 D-Max range will be offered in nine colours. All except Mineral White come at a $500 premium.
Ford's best-seller still justifies its position as an Aussie favourite, especially in Sport V6 form, but more rivals are signing up every day.

The D-Max is a staple in the Australian ute market, and this year's updates have done well to bring it up to speed against the competition.
