Fledgling Chinese brand Zeekr has thrown another electric vehicle (EV) into the mix.
The Zeekr Mix is an electric people mover with five seats, the front two of which can swivel 270 degrees to face those in the rear.
“While we’re still awaiting confirmation for the RHD market, this launch reflects Zeekr’s vision for the future of mobility,” said a spokesperson for Zeekr Australia.

It shapes as an obvious rival to the Volkswagen ID. Buzz, measuring 4688mm long on a 3008mm wheelbase – just 24mm shorter overall than the German people mover, though on a 19mm longer wheelbase.
Zeekr says that with an in-cabin height of 1350mm and a movable centre console, the Mix can be transformed into a lounge or even a private yoga studio.
The company says it took design inspiration from “thousands of warm homes”, as well as the Tiangong Space Station. The styling is “rounded and caring”, with the edges smoothed off.
As with the 007 sedan, there’s a customisable front light bar.
The cabin is entered via sliding doors on either side, with a spacious 1.48m-wide entrance.
The Mix has a “hidden” dual B-pillar design, with two ultra-high-strength steel pillars embedded within each door.
Zeekr says as the floor height is 390mm, it’s easy for young children and the elderly to get in and out of the Mix. Ground clearance is 165mm.
The rear seats feature integrated leg rests, while there are also foot rests at the base of the front seats.
Rear occupants can also enjoy heating, ventilation and massage like those up front, while other standard features include a panoramic glass roof, matrix LED headlights, a 21-speaker sound system with Dolby Atmos, a refrigerator for the centre console, and a remote control parking feature.
Ahead of the driver is an augmented reality head-up display, a 13-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15-inch OLED infotainment touchscreen.
The Mix rides Zeekr’s SEA-M architecture and features an 800V electrical system.
It’s available with a choice of 76kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) or 102kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery packs.
With the smaller of the two, it offers a range of 550km under the more lenient CLTC cycle; with the larger battery, this is bumped up to over 700km.
Zeekr says the LFP battery can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in 10.5 minutes thanks to 5.5C ultra-fast charging capability.
The Mix has vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability, allowing you to power external appliances. There’s a 220V AC power supply in the boot.
Powering the Mix is a single electric motor with 310kW of power and 440Nm of torque, propelling the people mover to 100km/h from a standstill in 6.8 seconds.
It rides on MacPherson strut front and multi-link rear suspension with frequency adaptive dampers.
The Mix’s suite of active safety and driver assist technology is powered by a sensor suite comprising LiDAR, high-definition cameras, and millimetre-wave radars.
Safety features include front and rear cross-traffic assist, traffic sign recognition, a traffic light reminder, autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, a surround-view camera, and adaptive cruise control.
The Mix joins a growing Zeekr lineup which includes not only the 009 people mover, but also the X and 7X SUVs, 001 liftback and 007 sedan.
The X will be the brand’s debut model in Australia when it comes here this year, while the 7X has been confirmed for a 2025 launch. The 009 will also launch here.
