Footage obtained by 7 News Sydney shows a commuter train passing on the adjacent line just moments later, with the two officers exiting the BMW without assistance.
The officers reportedly suffered minor injuries, while their vehicle was removed from the train tracks shortly after.
The motorcyclist – who police claim was not being pursued, in spite of the vehicle’s high speed and flashing lights and sirens – rode away from the scene.
Police are appealing to anyone with dashcam footage or who may have witnessed the incident to come forward and assist with investigations.
