Volvo is recalling 2979 vehicles across the S60, V60, XC60 and XC90 lines as their engines could stall.

“The low pressure fuel pump fuse could blow and prevent the low pressure fuel pump from operating and the engine may stall while driving and not restart,” the company says in its recall notice.

“This can increase the risk of an accident, causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.”

If you own an affected vehicle, you’ll need to contact your Volvo dealership to organise a free inspection and repair.

If you have any further questions, you can contact Volvo’s customer relations team on 1300 787 802.
