The 2024 Volkswagen T-Cross has been spied featuring freshened styling front and rear.
The updated model may debut later this year.
Volkswagen is known for its tricky camouflage stickers, and this prototype is wearing some to make it look like the current T-Cross.
Peer closer and you can see what appears to be a restyled front bumper, with a wider lower air intake and redesigned fog light assemblies.
The headlight and tail lights also appear to have received an update, as does the rear bumper.
The model spied appears to be an R-Line, based on its chrome accents.
The T-Cross, Volkswagen’s smallest SUV, is based on Volkswagen’s MQB A0 platform, also shared with the Volkswagen Polo, Audi A1 and Skoda Scala and Kamiq.
Volkswagen first introduced the T-Cross to Australia in 2020, offering it exclusively in 85TSI Life and Style trim levels with a turbocharged 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine with 85kW of power and 200Nm of torque.
While a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine was slated for Australia, this never eventuated. In Europe, this engine produces 110kW and 250Nm.
Last year, Volkswagen sold 5146 examples of the T-Cross in Australia, putting it ahead of other light European crossovers like the Ford Puma (2408 sales), Nissan Juke (1084) and Renault Captur (1207).
