McLaren has recalled the GT to fix a potential problem with the driver airbag.
“The connection to the driver airbag may not meet manufacturing specifications. As a result the passenger airbag may not deploy as intended,” the company says in its recall notice.
“In the event of an accident an airbag not deploying as intended could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.”
Owners of affected vehicles can get in touch with their McLaren dealer to organise a free fix.
