Kia Australia is recalling 3873 examples of the Sorento to fix an issue that causes the indicators to not work properly.
This recall affects current-generation Sorento models producing during 2022.
“Due to a software issue, the turn indicators may not illuminate as intended,” said the company in its recall notice.
“If the turn indicators do not illuminate as intended, other road users would be unable to identify if the vehicle is turning. This could increase the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.”
