Ford Australia is recalling 2021-23 Transit models for an issue with their reversing camera.

“The rear-view camera may not display the rear-view image whilst reversing as intended,” the company says in its recall notice.

“If the rear-view camera display does not continually display the rear-view image whilst reversing the vehicle it could increase the risk of an accident, causing serious injury or death to any persons located behind the vehicle.”

If you own an affected vehicle, you’ll be contacted in writing and asked to book in a free inspection and repair at an authorised Ford dealership.

If you have any further questions, you can contact the Ford Customer Relationship Centre on 133 673.
