Ford is recalling close to 30,000 vehicles across its Ranger, Everest, Mustang, Mustang Mach-E, Transit, Transit Custom and F-150 model lines to fix an issue with their reversing cameras.
“Due to a software issue, the rear-view camera may not display the rear-view image whilst reversing as intended,” the company says in its recall notice.
“If the rear-view camera does not operate as intended while reversing the vehicle, it could increase the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to persons located behind the vehicle.”
