    Ford Mustang recalled

Ford is recalling 2313 Mustang models due to an issue with the reversing camera, reverse lights and other driver assist features.

Ford Australia is recalling 2303 examples of its Mustang pony car due to a manufacturing issue that may cause various safety features to not work properly.

This recall affects current-generation Ford Mustang models produced from 2018 to 2020.

“Due to a manufacturing issue, the rear-view camera display, reverse lamps, and various driver assist features may not operate as intended,” said the company in its recall notice.

“The driver will receive warning signals in the instrument cluster.”

If you own an affected vehicle, Ford Australia will contact you in writing. You’ll need to make an appointment at your preferred authorised Ford dealer for a free inspection and fix.

If you have any further questions, you can contact the Ford Customer Relationship Centre on 1800 503 672.
