General Motors Specialty Vehicles (GMSV) has announced a pair of new accessory packages for its Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup range, giving buyers more direct options from the factory.
The two packages are available for the Silverado 1500 LTZ Premium and the ZR2, which are already differentiated in being on- and off-road focused, respectively.
The new Black Pack, priced from $3032 (before fitment and GST) and exclusive to the Silverado 1500 LTZ Premium, adds dark elements such as high-gloss black 20-inch wheels, black badging and weathershields.

ZR2s also get a new Terrain Pack, starting from $4192 (excluding fitment and GST) and adding a soft tonneau cover, black sports bar, rocker protectors, black tailgate lettering and weathershields.
If you have the accessories installed by an authorised GMSV dealer while your vehicle is under warranty, they’ll be covered by the balance of the new vehicle warranty, or 24 months/50,000km from the date of fitment.
“We know that so many of our customers personalise their Silverado, and the launch of these dealer-fitted accessory packs will give them even more choice, while at the same time simplifying the process,” said GM Australia and New Zealand managing director, Jess Bala.
“Through choosing an individual accessory or taking advantage of an accessory pack, you can add style and real substance, and tailor your Silverado to your lifestyle.
“Whether you use your Silverado for work or play — or for a bit of both — there is a GMSV accessory to enhance your ownership experience.”
These accessories packs have been launched in addition to the existing, exhaustive lineup of optional equipment available for not only the Silverado 1500 but also the larger Silverado HD (2500).
The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ Premium is priced from $130,500 before on-road costs, while the ZR2 starts from $138,000 and the 2500 LTZ Premium from $163,000.
