The people mover segment in Australia is small, but Chinese newcomer Zeekr is launching into it with one of the quickest, most luxurious, flashiest and most expensive offerings.
The 2025 Zeekr 009 is now available for pre-order, becoming the electric vehicle (EV) brand’s second model in Australia.
Zeekr is offering it in either seven-seat or six-seat configurations, priced at $135,900 and $139,900 before on-road costs, respectively.

Both configurations come with a 116kWh battery pack and a 450kW/693Nm dual-motor all-wheel drive powertrain that rockets this big people mover to 100km/h in 4.5 seconds.
The 009 is more expensive than the LDV MIFA 9, another Chinese electric people mover which retails from $104,000 to $129,000 before on-roads.
However, it’s cheaper than the hybrid-powered Lexus LM, which ranges from $160,272 to $220,272 before on-road costs.
Zeekr is owned by Geely, as are Volvo, Lotus and Polestar. The 009 joins the small X electric SUV.
