A Queensland Ineos dealer has unveiled its take on the rugged Grenadier Quartermaster, featuring a selection of off-road and cosmetic enhancements unique to local buyers.
Said to be inspired by the Baja racing scene of Mexico, the Baja Edition features a new colour and decal combination, tough front bull bar and winch, upgraded suspension and lights, and various utility-focused additions to the off-road-ready dual-cab ute.
Headlining its look is a standard dark green paint colour with bronze and black graphics designed by Queensland-based company Bailey Print Garage.
It also rides atop new bronze-coloured Method Race wheels wrapped in chunky all-terrain tyres and is finished with various gear like a Rhino Rack on the roof and a Baja-inspired angled spare tyre mount in the bed.
The Baja Edition follows the dealer’s previous limited-edition run of a more rugged version of the Grenadier SUV in late 2024.

The dealer’s latest creation sits higher than the standard Quartermaster, thanks to upgraded suspension by JMACX Off-Road Solutions, and it has a wider stance for better off-road stability.
Fitted to the front is a large bull bar, which houses an integrated winch rated at 12,000lbs (5443kg). Australian-based lighting company Baja Designs has also supplied four “high-performance” auxiliary lights, two of which utilise amber-coloured lenses for improved visibility in dust and fog.
There’s a matte black Rhino Rack on the roof with a Baja Designs spotlight array, while the Quartermaster’s raised snorkel has been retained on the driver’s side A-pillar.
The angled spare tyre mount by MQUIP in the bed is directly inspired by the arrangement fitted to Baja race trucks and holds a full-size wheel. Surrounding it is a “reinforced” bed liner to protect against wear and tear.
The Quartermaster Baja Edition is still powered by BMW’s ‘B57’ 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline-six diesel, which produces 183kW of power and 550Nm of torque. That’s mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and boasts permanent all-wheel drive with front, centre and rear locking differentials.
While changes to its dimensions haven’t been detailed, the standard model measures 5400mm long, 2146mm wide and 2019mm tall on a 3227mm wheelbase, with 264mm of ground clearance and an 800mm wading depth.
The tub measures 1564mm long and 1619mm wide, and the Quartermaster features a 3500kg brake towing capacity and a payload rating of 832kg.
Pricing for the Baja Edition hasn’t been listed, though standard dual-cab Grenadier Quartermasters range in price from $105,000 to $118,000 before on-roads.
