“Honda Australia continually reviews and assesses the product offering and pricing across the range to meet market and consumer demands,” said a company spokesperson.
The CR-V is the brand’s most popular model in Australia, with 5547 deliveries recorded in 2024. This was a drop of 29 per cent on the previous year, though the smaller ZR-V – also classified as a mid-sized SUV – was up by 79.3 per cent.
The more familiar CR-V nameplate, which first debuted in Australia in 1997, nevertheless outsold the MG HS (4552 deliveries) and Volkswagen Tiguan (4582).
The ZR-V also received a price cut for its entry-level model.
