The flagship Chevrolet Silverado 1500 has been given another price increase, but the V8-powered pickup’s equipment list is unchanged.

General Motors Specialty Vehicles (GMSV) now lists the off-road focused Silverado 1500 ZR2 at $141,500 before on-road costs, a $3500 increase on its most recent price, and up $8500 on this time last year.

Pricing for the entry-level, road-oriented Silverado 1500 LTZ Premium is unchanged at $130,500 before on-road costs.

The Silverado is now the only V8-powered pickup on sale in Australia, after local pricing for the twin-turbo straight-six Ram 1500 was announced this week – though runout models of the Hemi V8 model are still available.

Both the Ford F-150 and Toyota Tundra are powered by turbocharged V6 engines.

A range of accessories and packages are also available for the Silverado 1500, with pricing included at the bottom of this article.
