The facelifted Renault Arkana is now available, bringing tweaked styling details and a reshuffled lineup.
Gone are the Zen, Intens and R.S. Line, with the new lineup now comprising Techno and Esprit Alpine trims. The only available engine continues to be a turbocharged 1.3-litre petrol four-cylinder.
The range now opens at $41,000 before on-road costs for the Techno, which is the same price as the defunct mid-range Intens.
However, Renault has confirmed an entry-level Evolution trim will arrive “at a later date”.
It’s unclear when a hybrid version will finally be introduced in Australia. Renault Australia has previously indicated a hybrid Arkana is coming.
The new Esprit Alpine has a unique look which includes twin black exhaust outlets; translucent, smoky tail lights; 19-inch alloy wheels; and gloss black window trims.
Inside, there are suede-style door trims, Alpine Blue stitching elements throughout the cabin, and ‘Tricolore’ stitching on the perforated steering wheel.
