The Nissan Patrol has finally received smartphone mirroring, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto among several feature additions for 2024.
UPDATE, 16/07/2024 – Nissan Australia has increased the asking price of the Patrol range by $1000 as part of a wider range price hike.
From April, Nissan’s flagship SUV gained a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system through a partnership between the Japanese brand and Melbourne-based firm Directed Technologies.
Included in the new infotainment system is DAB+ digital radio and an iGO Street Navigation system, which comes with a complimentary one-month subscription to Hema 4×4 Navigation for off-road guidance.
Additional changes include the removal of one USB-A port for a faster USB-C connection and a 15-watt wireless smartphone charging pocket.
A small storage bin now sits where the 8.0-inch screen was previously placed.
The interior upgrades continue with a wide-angle reversing camera, a digital rear-view mirror, and a centre console cool box between the front seats.
The Patrol’s existing six-speaker sound system has been enhanced for the luxury Ti-L variant, with the speakers now supplied by Infinity – not to be confused with Nissan’s luxury brand Infiniti.
The upgraded 2024 Nissan Patrol initially incurred a price increase of $3000, and now another $1000 has been added to the entire range. The entry-level Ti is now priced from $88,900 before on-road costs, the Ti-L begins at $101,600 and the Warrior tops out at $105,160.
To the end of June, Nissan has sold 3943 Patrols this year. Its Toyota LandCruiser arch-rival logged 8199 sales in the first half of this year, though this figure includes both the old 70 Series and the new 300 Series.

2024 Nissan Patrol Ti | $88,900 |
2024 Nissan Patrol Ti-L | $101,600 |
2024 Nissan Patrol Warrior | $105,160 |
All prices exclude on-road costs.
The 2024 Nissan Patrol is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.6-litre petrol V8 engine producing 298kW of power and 560Nm of torque, mated with a seven-speed automatic transmission.
It features a four-wheel drive system with selectable low-range gearing.
The 2024 Nissan Patrol uses a claimed 14.4L/100km on the combined cycle.
It runs on 95 RON premium unleaded fuel and has a 140L fuel tank.
The 2024 Nissan Patrol Ti and Ti-L measure 5175mm long, 1995mm wide and 1940mm tall on a 3075mm wheelbase.
The Patrol Warrior is 50mm taller at 1990mm (29mm due to the suspension lift, 21mm due to the wheel and tyre package) and has a 40mm wider track than the Ti.
That brings ground clearance up to 323mm, up from 273mm in the Ti and Ti-L.
The Warrior has an approach angle of 40 degrees, up from 34.4 degrees in the Ti and Ti-L, and a departure angle of 23.3 degrees.
The Warrior also has a 120kg GVM upgrade (to 3620kg), a 48kg payload increase (to 828kg), and features unique front and rear springs and a re-engineered Hydraulic Body Motion Control system.
All Patrol models have a braked towing capacity of 3500kg.
The 2024 Nissan Patrol is covered by a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty.
Servicing is required every 12 months or 10,000km, whichever comes first.
The first six services are capped at $452, $581, $560, $917, $509 and $742, respectively.
