2024 Nissan Navara price and specs

The Nissan Navara ute range remains unchanged in terms of standard specification for the 2024 model year.

UPDATE, 16/07/2024 – Nissan Australia has increased the asking price of the Navara range by $500 as part of a wider range price hike.

As of July 2024, the range now opens at $33,550 before on-roads for the Navara SL 4×2 manual single-cab chassis, and extends to $71,265 before on-roads for the Navara Pro-4X Warrior 4×4 automatic dual-cab pickup.

Both of the Navara Warrior variants, modified in Melbourne by Nissan’s engineering partner Premcar, are continuing for the 2024 model year.

The Navara SL Warrior starts at $59,250 before on-roads with a six-speed manual transmission, or $61,750 before on-roads with a seven-speed automatic transmission.

The Navara Pro-4X Warrior on other hand starts at $68,765 before on-roads with a six-speed manual transmission, or $71,265 before on-roads with a seven-speed automatic transmission.

Until the end of November 2023, Nissan sold a total of 7007 examples Navara 4×4 utes and 925 Navara 4×2 utes.

It’s a far cry from the segment leaders including the Toyota HiLux, Ford Ranger, and Isuzu D-Max.

The Navara is approaching the end of its lifecycle, with a new generation expected in 2025.

Drivetrains

The 2024 Nissan Navara is powered by a pair of 2.3-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder engines.

The base, single-turbo in the SL manual produces 120kW of power and 403Nm of torque, while the twin-turbo version in all other variants produces 140kW and 450Nm.

The manual transmission is a six-speed unit, while the automatic is a seven-speed unit.

Four-wheel drive variants have a part-time four-wheel drive system with low-range and an electronically locking rear differential.

Efficiency

The 2024 Nissan Navara is claimed to consume between 7.2 and 8.1 litres per 100km according to ADR combined drive cycle testing.

Nissan doesn’t note any changes in claimed fuel economy for the Warrior models although they are heavier and have all-terrain tyres.

All models have an 80-litre fuel tank.

Dimensions

The 2024 Nissan Navara is available in single-cab, king-cab, and dual-cab body styles.

The single cab measures 5120mm long, 1850mm wide and up to 1770mm tall.

The king cab measures up to 5311mm long, 1850mm wide and up to 1815mm tall.

The dual cab measures up to 5350mm long, up to 1920mm wide and up to 1895mm tall.

Payload for the 2024 Nissan Navara ranges between 876kg and 1282kg, depending on the variant.

Gross vehicle mass (GVM) ranges between 2910kg and 3250kg, depending on the variant, and gross combined mass (GCM) is 5910kg.

All 2024 Nissan Navara models have a 3500kg braked towing capacity and a 750kg unbraked towing capacity.

Servicing and Warranty

The 2024 Nissan Navara is covered by a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty like the wider Nissan range.

Maintenance is required every 12 months or 20,000km, whichever comes first.

The 2024 Nissan Navara had a five-star safety rating based on ANCAP testing conducted in 2015, though this has now expired.

That rating was based on a frontal offset score of 14.01 out of 16, a side impact score of 16 out of 16, and pedestrian and whiplash protection scores of Marginal and Good, respectively.
