A minor facelift and equipment update for the 2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport has coincided with price increases across the SUV’s lineup, ranging from $1600 to $2400.
The update comes after the Thai-market Pajero Sport was updated in March, with Australian upgrades largely reflecting those seen overseas.
This includes a new front grille insert and lower bumper garnish, as well as new alloy wheel designs and a revised rear bumper.
There are cabin changes too, with the new Triton ute’s three-spoke steering wheel replacing the Pajero Sport’s dated four-spoke item.
Mitsubishi has culled the rear-wheel drive Pajero Sport variants, with the range now 4×4-only.
This has resulted in the SUV’s price of entry rising by $6600 to $51,540 before on-road costs in base GLX five-seat guise – which itself has undergone a $1600 price increase.
The prices of the GLS, Exceed and GSR are also up $1700, $1900 and $2400 respectively, with the flagship grade now starting from $64,840 before on-road costs.
The 2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is now available in local showrooms.

The 2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is exclusively powered by a 2.4-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, which produces 133kW of power and 430Nm of torque.
Drive is sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission and a full-time four-wheel drive system with selectable low- and high-range gearing and a locking rear differential.
Mitsubishi claims a fuel consumption figure of 8.0L/100km on the ADR combined city and highway cycle for the Pajero Sport.
It’s equipped with a 68L fuel tank.
