The Haval Jolion’s nationwide drive-away price has been discounted by $2000 for petrol models, as GWM attempts to fend off rival budget SUVs and clear stock.
After launching the GWM Plate Clearance in October – which included lower drive-away prices for the Haval Jolion Hybrid, Haval H6, GWM Cannon Alpha, Tank 300 and Ora – the carmaker has now included the petrol-only Jolion in its promotion.
Available to Haval Jolions built in 2024, the $2000 reduction now sees the Jolion Premium priced from $23,990 drive-away, while the Jolion Lux starts from $26,990 drive-away.
The offer will run until December 31, 2024.
Model | Nationwide drive-away price |

2024 GWM Haval Jolion Premium | $23,990 (-$2000) |

GWM quietly facelifted the petrol Haval Jolion earlier this year with a new front end and badging, though it didn’t receive as comprehensive an update as the Haval Jolion Hybrid, which now has a completely different body.
Nonetheless, the Haval Jolion has been one of the most popular models in its segment this year, with 11,273 examples delivered to Australian customers between January and October, behind only the MG ZS (18,668) and Hyundai Kona (11,273).
It faces fresh competition in the shape of not only the Omoda 5 launched by Chery last year, but also the rival Chinese brand’s new Tiggo 4 Pro which also opens at $23,990 drive-away. MG also has a new ZS around the corner.
Petrol Haval Jolions use a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine, which produces up to 105kW and 210Nm, powering the front wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Claimed fuel consumption is 8.1L/100km.
