A new Ultra petrol variant has rejoined the Haval Jolion range for 2025 after leaving for 2024, but otherwise it’s business as usual for GWM’s popular small SUV.
Its re-introduction has somewhat thrown out the pricing convention for the Jolion range, as it’s priced $1000 higher than the cheapest Hybrid version. That’s a small departure from the 2024 range, in which there was a clear distinction between the two petrol and three hybrid variants.
Confusingly, the base Premium and Lux petrol variants have maintained the ‘old shape’ Jolion body, but the new Ultra petrol has adopted the ‘new shape’ instead.
That means that on the outside it looks nearly identical to the three ‘new shape’ hybrids, aside from the addition of 18-inch black alloy wheels.

The Ultra petrol also develops 25kW and 60Nm more than the standard Premium and Lux models, but 10kW and 115Nm less than the hybrids.
The same tune for its 1.5-litre turbo four-cylinder was previously used on the pre-update Jolion S.
Given that boot space in the Ultra petrol is also down on the Premium and Lux equivalents, but there’s still more cargo space than the hybrid models of the same design.
Pricing for the entire Jolion range is also currently discounted by as much as $3000 depending on the variant, though prices will return to standard nationwide drive-away pricing from January 1, 2025.
Pricing
The flagship non-hybrid Ultra muddies the pricing of the Jolion range, as it slots in above the Premium Hybrid and below the Lux Hybrid and Ultra Hybrid.
GWM’s entire Jolion range is currently discounted until December 31, with current drive-away pricing and subsequent nationwide pricing detailed below.
