The Skoda Octavia is currently only available in two variants, 110TSI and RS. The entire range is $1000 more expensive for 2023 as well.
The Skoda Octavia range has been whittled down to two variants for 2023 with the entry-level 110TSI Ambition axed and the 140TSI Limited Edition currently not on sale.
Drive-away pricing for the Octavia range is up $1000 too as part of a wider price rise on almost all Skoda models from January 1, 2023.
The 2023 Skoda Octavia range now starts at $40,990 drive-away for the 110TSI Style, and extends to $57,490 drive-away for the RS wagon.
As previously reported, the Octavia 140TSI Sportline was meant to replace the 140TSI Limited Edition as a permanent variant last year. This didn’t happen and it’s unclear if it’ll join the range this year either.
The Octavia still isn’t available with features including semi-autonomous parking assist and a Canton premium sound system due to semiconductor shortages. It’s unclear when these will return.
The rest of the standard features are unchanged from the 2022 model year.
All prices are drive-away.
Power in the Skoda Octavia 110TSI comes from a 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 110kW of power and 250Nm of torque.
Drive is sent through an eight-speed torque-converter automatic transmission to the front wheels only.
The range-topping Octavia RS is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 180kW of power and 370Nm of torque.
It’s also front-wheel drive, but uses a seven-speed (wet) dual-clutch automatic transmission and has an electronically locking front differential.
The Skoda Octavia 110TSI liftback uses a claimed 5.7L/100km on the combined cycle, and the wagon uses a claimed 5.9L/100km.
The Octavia RS uses a claimed 6.8L/100km across both body styles.
Style variants have a 45L fuel tank, whereas RS variants have a 50L fuel tank. Both require a minimum of 95 RON premium unleaded petrol.
The 2023 Skoda Octavia measures in at 4689mm long, 1829mm wide and 1470mm tall in liftback guise, and 1468mm tall in wagon guise. All Octavia models have a 2686mm wheelbase.
Boot space with the rear seats upright is 600L in the liftback and 640L in the wagon, whereas with them folded down is 1555L and 1700L, respectively.
The Skoda Octavia, like the entire range, is covered by a seven-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty.
Logbook servicing is required every 12 months or 15,000km, whichever occurs first.
