It looks like the Hyundai Venue is next in line for a mid-life facelift inspired by the larger Palisade.
Images posted to KoreanCarBlog created by 3D modelling company Hum3D, show what’s labelled as a 2022 Hyundai Venue Turbo and “created maximally close to a real Hyundai car and based on the dimensions from open sources”.
Given the catalogue of other accurate 3D renderings of other production vehicles, it appears Hum3D has had early access to the updated Venue in some shape or form to create this product design, rather than a speculative rendering based on spy images or camouflaged prototypes.
Compared to the vehicle currently on sale, this redesigned Hyundai Venue takes strong inspiration from the likes of the flagship Palisade, particularly up front with a ‘mini-me’ version of the squared-off grille and integrated daytime running light signature.
Around the back, there’s a new tail light design with what looks like a full-width light reflector – we doubt it’s an LED strip – complemented by a full-width plastic bumper insert. Both design elements should make the Venue appear wider.
This particular vehicle has a Turbo badge as well, meaning this rendering is likely based on an Indian-market vehicle. Hyundai offers the Venue in India with a 1.0-litre T-GDi three-cylinder turbo petrol similar to the motor offered in the Kia Rio and Stonic.

Hyundai Australia declined to offer any comments on an upcoming Venue refresh, but we’d expect the Korean brand’s entry-level crossover to be revealed during the second half of 2022, ahead of an Australian launch in 2023.
Beyond the aesthetic changes, expect upgrades to the Venue’s infotainment and driver assistance tech suite – e.g. available 10.25-inch infotainment and enhanced Hyundai SmartSense features including upgraded AEB and maybe even adaptive cruise control.
There’s no 3D renderings of the new Venue’s interior, so we’ll have to wait and see for the extent of the interior design changes.
Current Venue 
As of April 30, the Hyundai Venue is Australia’s third best-selling Light SUV segment according to VFACTS data.
With 2647 units registered year to date (YTD), the Venue is up 37.2 per cent this year to the end of April and behind only the Mazda CX-3 (3480 units, -44.3 per cent) and Toyota Yaris Cross (3040 units, +9.7 per cent). The Venue is also a nose ahead of its Kia Stonic cousin (2569 units, +46.5 per cent).
