The MG HS range has carried over unchanged into 2022, however it’s set to grow later in the year.

UPDATE, 15/08/2022 – MG Motor Australia has removed the entry-level MG HS Core from its website, following a recent price hike for the mid-sized SUV range.

The 2022 MG HS range now starts at $31,990 drive-away for the Vibe and extends to $51,690 drive-away for the HS Plus EV Essence plug-in hybrid (PHEV). Petrol HS models are also now offered in a new, brighter Brixton Blue.

After launching with just two variants in 2020, the MG HS range expanded to nine variants briefly and includes a more affordable version of the Plus EV plug-in hybrid that launched in the first quarter of 2022.

The MG HS range has now gone back to eight variants with the axing of the base Core.

Pricing starts at $31,990 drive-away for the Vibe and tops out at $51,690 drive-away for the Plus EV Essence.

With sales up 162.6 per cent, only the Haval H6 (3635, up 279.8 per cent) saw greater growth in the mid-sized SUV segment in 2021.
