The range starts at $47,900 before on-road costs for the base sDrive18i and extends to $67,900 driveaway for the sDrive20i Sport.
Manufactured in Germany, the second-generation X1 has been on sale here in Australia since 2015. It received a minor facelift in 2019.

xDrive25i models are powered by a higher-output 2.0-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder producing 170kW and 350Nm. This is mated to an eight-speed torque-converter automatic and is the only model to send this power through an all-wheel drive system.
BMW claims the sDrive18i will do the 0-100km/h sprint in 9.6 seconds, the sDrive18d in 9.2 seconds, the sDrive20i in 7.6 seconds and the xDrive25i in6.5 seconds.
