ANCAP’s five-star rating was based on Euro NCAP testing conducted in 2019.
In addition to standard front, side chest-protecting and side curtain airbags, the Captur features the following safety equipment:
Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available on the Zen and Intens trims.
The five-star rating applies to all variants built from February 2021.
Notable rivals such as the Skoda Kamiq, Ford Puma, Toyota C-HR and Volkswagen T-Cross have all scored the coveted five-star rating from ANCAP.
The Nissan Juke, with which it shares its CMF-B platform, also has a five-star ANCAP rating.
