Hot on the heels of yesterday’s JCW Nightfall Editions, Mini Australia has announced the Cooper S Rosewood Edition, available to order now from $59,250 before on-road costs.
The Mini Rosewood Edition is available in both 3 Door Hatch and 5 Door Hatch versions, and is limited to just 40 units in total.
Key highlights include:
The Rosewood Edition’s eye-catching Indian Summer Red Metallic paint is usually exclusive to the six-door Clubman wagon. Mini says the warm hue is a nod to summer’s warmer weather.
Contrasting with the bright red body are shiny Piano Black exterior accents, as well as 17-inch black alloy wheels.
Mini has gone all out with bespoke appointments too, adding 3D-printed elements for the dashboard insert which features ‘Rosewood’ branding and a cool texture.
Like the JCW Nightfall Edition, the Cooper S Rosewood Edition picks up some new tech inclusions, such as the 5.0-inch digital instrument cluster as well as the company’s latest 8.8-inch infotainment system with touchscreen functionality and wireless Apple CarPlay.
Power in the Mini Rosewood comes from a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol developing 141kW of power and 280Nm of torque.
Drive is sent exclusively to the front wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic with paddle shifters, with 0-100 taking a claimed 6.7 seconds (6.8 seconds 5 Door Hatch). Fuel use, meanwhile, is rated at 5.5L/100km (5.6L/100km 5 Door Hatch).
The Mini Cooper S Rosewood Edition is available to order now via Mini’s online deposit process.
