Mercedes-Benz is recalling its C-Class and E-Class convertibles due to a fault with the headrests.
“The rear head rests may not be fitted correctly. As a result they may move or detach from the seat in an event of an accident,” the company says in its recall notice.
“If the head rest moves or becomes detached it could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants.”
If you own an affected vehicle, you’ll need to contact a Mercedes-Benz dealer to organise a free inspection and repair.
If you have any further questions, you can contact Mercedes-Benz’s customer service centre on 1300 300 896.
